In-stock orders are usually shipped within 1-10 business days, however, please allow up to 2-3 weeks for order fulfilment and delivery. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. Relevant duties, taxes, brokerage and other fees are determined by the customs agency within the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient. These fees will be due at the time of delivery and are non-refundable.
If the recipient fails to pay applicable duties and taxes, the package will be abandoned and We Dream in Colour will not refund the abandoned order, including shipping charges and fees. We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion.

We will be glad to make an exchange or credit your original method of purchase for any unused and unaltered items you are not completely happy with within 30 days of delivery. All tags must be attached and items must be returned in original packaging.
Shipping fees are non-refundable. Returns from orders that received our free shipping promotion will be be refunded less the actual shipping and insurance cost for the returned items.
Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Returns are typically processed within 10-14 business day of receipt. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment.
Shipping fees are non refundable and will be deducted from any refund issued.
Please note that while most refunds are visible within a few business days, your banking institution or credit card company may take up to 30 business days to process and post the refund to your account.
All orders come packaged in branded unbleached boxes or a natural muslin drawstring bags, quite ready for giving. If you are ordering several items and require multiple boxes or bags, please let us know. To limit waste we may package items together unless otherwise requested. Handwritten gift cards are available by default if you specify a gift message when you check out. Please select "this is a gift" and we will package your item appropriately.
All items purchased within and shipped to the state of Massachusetts will incur a 6.25% sales tax.
Vintage + Antique Items
While we check our vintage and antique pieces thoroughly, we understand that damage may occur during normal wear. We will happily repair faulty vintage and antique pieces within one month of purchase free of charge. For pieces damaged under extreme conditions or after a month, repair charges and postage will apply.
We will happily repair jewellery (that breaks during normal wear) at no charge within one year of purchase. For jewellery damaged under extreme conditions or after a year, a charge for the repair and postage will apply. Please email us at email@example.com to arrange a repair return. Be sure to ship prepaid and insured via a traceable method with the package securely wrapped and include your return address, contact information and request.
Spam and Phishing/Spoofing Notice
We Dream In Colour does not send unsolicited email. Because of the unscrupulous tactics employed by spammers & malicious programmers, some of our email addresses have been spoofed. This technique is commonly used by spammers to hide the origin of their e-mails. If you have received any communication of this sort claiming to be from a wedreamincolour.com email address please delete it immediately. Learn more about phishing from the FTC.
General - Always remove jewelry and/or hair accessories when washing hands, showering, or swimming. Unfriendly chemicals can cause unpredictable reactions, so put jewellery on last after you have applied perfume or hair product.
Brass & Copper - the beauty of these metals is that they can develop a rich patina with wear. Exposure to salt air and water will bring on bits of green patina. To restore to a bright finish we highly recommend EZ Brite's environmentally friendly Penny Brite cleaner, which also works beautifully on silver!
Verdigris - Sealed with a clear coat for protection, our patina pieces will slowly continue to develop over time. To preserve the finish, avoid abrasion and do not use cleaners on the verdigris areas.
Black and Antique Patina - Sealed with a clear coat for protection, these pieces are coloured with a layer of oxidation. To preserve the finish, avoid abrasion and do not use cleaners on the oxidised areas.
Glass Enamel - our enamel pieces are made by melting a thin layer of glass over metal. Like most glass products this means that the finish is fragile, but will last for years if treated correctly. Avoid hard knocks, heavy pressure and do not bend. Do not submerge these pieces in water or cleaning solutions. Clean by wiping with a soft cloth.
Steel - protect from exposure to moisture. Clean with a dab of oil on cotton or a polishing cloth.
Shell, Bone, Ivory, Gemstones (and other natural materials) - wipe clean with a soft cloth.

Striving to operate as an environmentally friendly entity is nothing new to us, but if you are curious as to the many steps we take to minimize our impact in our daily operations please read on as we've happily listed a few! We avoid harmful production processes and use non-toxic solutions to prep, clean and colour our pieces. All of our enamels are lead free. Packaging materials are reused obsessively, and where new 100% biodegradable. We use reclaimed metals and vintage and antique re-purposed materials where possible and all scrap metals are recycled. Our energy is supplied through National Grid's GreenUp option, so all of our electricity is generated from renewable resources. We donate a portion of our profits, including 1% of our net sales to environmental and humanitarian foundations and charities. Incorporating a sustainable approach into our lives outside work as well is important to us, in fact, that's where it started - we have our own organic garden, compost, reuse and recycle whenever possible and make a point to purchase organic, local and earth-friendly products.
